Are you detail-focused, organised, and ready to get hands-on with HR records? We’re looking for someone to join our Payroll Evolution Project, a key initiative to clean up and modernise our employee data at Parliamentary Service.

This casual role will start with around 4 weeks of work, but there’s potential to extend if the project continues beyond that timeframe.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing physical personnel files and scanning them into our digital system
  • Renaming, organising, and standardising digital folder structures
  • Extracting employment terms and entering them into our HR database
  • Supporting other personnel data tasks as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who’s confident working with confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail – accuracy and consistency are a must
  • Quick to learn new systems and processes
  • Preferably available most weekdays to work onsite (this is hands-on work)

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project at the heart of Parliament. You’ll gain valuable HR experience and insight into how payroll and personnel systems operate behind the scenes.
