You will be part of the Partnership & Advisory team that is responsible for the provision of pragmatic HR advice and support to its customers and champions an “One Team” approach. Mō te tūnga |About the role:

As one of two HR Coordinators, you will work collaboratively to deliver exceptional HR coordination services across PS and OOC. You’ll provide responsive, first-line operational support and assistance to all our customers across all facets of HR, deliver a seamless and exceptional customer experience, and help embed operational excellence in our partnering and advisory service model.

You’ll also play a pivotal role in preparing us for New Zealand’s general election cycle and will key to ensuring we deliver an efficient service; a period marked by high-volume recruitment, rapid transitions, and sensitive staffing changes. Your expertise will help ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding and offboarding process for MPs and staff, while maintaining service excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-trust environment and ideally brings:

  • Proven experience supporting HR operations during general elections or similar.
  • Sound knowledge of HR administration systems and procedures, with an understanding of collective and individual employment agreements.
  • A passion for human resources and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Teams, and service ticketing systems e.g. ServiceNow.
  • Strong customer service focus with exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $64,482 - $70,979 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for progression).
