Parliamentary Service is recruiting four senior leaders to strengthen delivery and consistency across our digital group. Together, these roles ensure Parliament is supported by reliable, secure and well‑governed digital services as we prepare for the demands of an election year.

Mō te tūnga | About the role:
In this senior leadership role, you’ll guide multi‑disciplinary teams, shape product strategy, and work closely with senior stakeholders across Parliamentary Service and the Office of the Clerk. You’ll balance innovation with reliability - ensuring digital solutions are customer‑centred, sustainable and aligned to organisational priorities.
You’ll provide clear direction for Digital Solutions, aligning priorities with organisational strategy and customer needs. As a leader of leaders, you empower teams to deliver and improve - while remaining accountable for outcomes. You'll be tasked with:
- Setting direction and priorities for Digital Solutions aligned to organisational goals.
- Leading and developing high‑performing leaders and teams.
- Ensuring strong delivery governance, planning and visibility of work.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Parliament.
- Contributing to shared leadership, decision‑making and culture across IT.
Tō kete | What you bring to the role:
You’re an experienced digital leader who is comfortable owning decisions and outcomes in complex environments. You bring sound judgement, strong people leadership, and the ability to balance customer needs, risk and organisational priorities.
- Experience leading cross‑functional digital or product teams in complex organisations.
- Strong people leadership capability, including coaching and delegation.
- Experience establishing delivery and product governance.
- Strong influencing and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to obtain NZSIS Confidential security clearance.

Ngā kōrero matua | Key details:
The salary midpoint for this role is $160,000.00 per annum. Starting offers will be aligned to skills and experience, and the full salary range allows for progression with tenure.
This role is based on the Parliamentary precinct. Being present on site is an important part of building relationships, supporting teams and working effectively in the Parliamentary environment, and regular in‑office presence is therefore expected.
