Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator 

  • 12-month contract!  
  • Be part of a team that is accountable for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of works across 90+ sites across Australia! 
  • Infrastructure maintenance coordination supporting our Intermodal, Bulk and Coal business units!  

About the role  

An opportunity exists for an Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, contractor resources, and activities for allocated sites. In-line with this, you will ensure that all safety requirements are achieved, and all work is carried out in accordance with Pacific National technical and quality standards. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Accountable for the identification, planning and coordination of periodic and on-condition infrastructure maintenance, improvement, repair, and rectification works. 
  • Use of the business CMMS (Maximo) to plan, record, report and execute maintenance activities. 
  • Accountable for liaising with the broader infrastructure team, relevant site owners and operational planning teams to schedule and coordinate works to ensure business continuity. 
  • Accountable for liaising with contractors to provide scopes, quotes and relevant documentation to perform the various maintenance activities. 
  • Accountable for reviewing and providing input into detailed Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for the completion of onsite works. 
  • Undertake regular safety engagements and audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards, procedures and permits. 
  • Provide day to day support to operations in the management of infrastructure at their sites. 
  • Responsible for the development of minor sustaining capital submissions. 
  • Responsible for the contribution and collation of data in the development of annual operational and capital budgets. 

 About you 

To be successful in this role, you will be a recognised as a leader, with the ability to communicate across different stakeholders in an articulate manner.  

In addition: 

  • 5 years' experience in maintenance planning/coordination in rail, mining, heavy industry and/or the building and construction field. 
  • Demonstrated experience prioritising maintenance activities including monitoring and improving contractor performance. 
  • Excellent computer skills, experience using an enterprise CMMS, Maximo preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated experience successfully working in an autonomous role.
