An opportunity has presented itself for a Terminal Operator Flying & Relieving Crew to join the intermodal team at our Brisbane Freight Terminal.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:

• Coordinate and plan train assembly and dismantling within terminal environments
• Operate Reach Stackers and undertake shunting activities
• Conduct train examinations and brake testing in line with rail standards
• Process freight movements and documentation using computerised systems
• Adhere to all safe-working, trackside, and terminal operating procedures
• Travel to other PN locations as required to relieve operational requirements

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will be adaptable, safety-focused, and open to travel.

Ideally, you will have:

• A strong safety mindset – bringing safety into every moment, every interaction, every day
• Reach Stacker licence 
• Full Driver’s Licence
• General computer proficiency
• Experience in train inspection, ground shunting, and trackside safety (preferred)
• A willingness to learn and undertake new competencies and training when required
