Every day we transport millions of tonnes of critical freight around the country for our customers. We’re now looking for a safety-focused Terminal Operator to join our Mackay team. This critical role ensures the efficient assembly and dismantling of trains within the terminal, as well as forklift operations and freight processing.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and plan train assembly and dismantling
• Operate forklifts & Gantry Cranes
• Manage freight documentation in a computerised system
• Undertake train examinations and brake testing & shunting of trains
• Adhere to safe-working and operating procedures
• Work across 24/7 rail operations with rotating shifts

What You’ll Bring

• Safety mindset
• Heavy forklift licence and CV High Risk Licence advantageous
• Full Driver’s Licence
• General computer proficiency
• Previous experience in logistics, transport or rail industry advantageous
• Training available for the right candidate – bring a positive attitude, we’ll teach the rest.
