An opportunity has presented itself for an Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our team in North Sydney.

What You’ll Do

Play a key role in strengthening our security posture by proactively identifying, analysing and responding to infrastructure security threats across a complex enterprise environment.

Reporting to the IT Security Lead, you will:

  • Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities across our infrastructure
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting and forensic analysis using tools such as Microsoft Defender and EDR platforms
  • Implement and maintain secure configurations across Active Directory, Windows Server and cloud environments
  • Administer and enhance security tooling including Microsoft Defender stack, SIEM and endpoint detection solutions
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure and network teams to embed security into system design and operations
  • Develop reporting and insights on security posture, incidents and remediation activities (including Power BI dashboards)

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in infrastructure or security engineering within a Microsoft-centric environment
  • Strong hands-on capability across incident response, threat detection and forensic analysis
  • Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Defender, EDR platforms, Active Directory, SCCM, Intune and Azure
  • Ability to think critically, assess complex problems and deliver effective, end-to-end solutions
  • Strong understanding of access management, security monitoring and vulnerability management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
