An opportunity has presented itself for a Level 3 Terminal Operator to join our Tennyson Intermodal team. This is your opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that plays a vital role in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

As a Level 3 Terminal Operator, you’ll play a critical role in the coordination, planning, and safe execution of train movements within the terminal.

Reporting to the Supervisor, your day-to-day will include:

• Efficient assembly and dismantling of trains
• Operating top lift container forklifts and other load-shifting equipment
• Processing freight and documentation into a computerised system
• Conducting train examinations and brake testing
• Supporting shunting activities as required
• Adhering to all safe-working and operating procedures

This role operates on a rotating shift roster, including nights and weekends.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Heavy Forklift Licence
• Full Driver’s Licence
• General computer proficiency
• Experience in train inspection, ground shunt, and trackside safety
• Shunt driver qualifications (highly regarded)
• Safety-first mindset and strong accountability
• Team player with a proactive attitude
