An opportunity has presented itself for a Sales Manager to join our intermodal team in Melbourne.

What You’ll Do

Lead the growth and retention of Pacific National's Intermodal customer portfolio, developing strategic partnerships and delivering commercial outcomes that support our long-term business objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Sales and Customer Service you will:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify market opportunities and lead business development initiatives
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage contract renewals
• Collaborate with operational and customer service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a sales leadership, business development, or account management role
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver revenue outcomes
• Experience managing complex customer relationships and negotiations
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A customer-focused mindset and passion for building long-term partnerships
• Experience within transport, logistics, supply chain, freight, or related industries will be highly regarded
