Join Pacific National – Australia’s largest private rail freight operator. Every day we transport millions of tonnes of critical freight around the country for our customers. An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Supervisor to join our Coal team in Coppabella.
As a supervisor, you’ll lead frontline train crew and operations across Coppabella and the wider Coal North region. You’ll drive safety, performance, and cultural change while supporting crew capability and compliance.
Key focus areas:
- Safety leadership and HSE initiatives
- Crew management, rostering, and operational oversight
- Coaching, development, and onboarding of new drivers
- Collaboration with planning and service delivery teams
What you’ll bring:
- Leadership experience in transport, logistics, or heavy industry
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Safety-first mindset and ability to manage incidents
- HR/IR knowledge and experience resolving workplace issues
- Rail experience is a plus, but not essential
