An opportunity has presented itself for a Terminal Operator to join our team in Adelaide Freight Terminal in Regency Park.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Terminal Supervisor, you will:

• Support container loading and unloading using a reach stacker
• Safely perform shunting duties within the terminal
• Marshal locomotives and rail wagons in preparation for departure
• Provide safety-critical communications to incoming and outgoing rail services
• Contribute to the safe and efficient movement of freight across the PN network
• Work a 24/7 forward-rotating roster (38 hours per week on average)

What You’ll Bring

To be successful, you will be an adaptable team player who thinks ahead, enjoys a challenge, and takes pride in safe, accountable work.

You will also have:

• Current C class driver’s licence
• General computer proficiency
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience in heavy industry, logistics or transport (advantageous)
• A mechanical, processing or trade qualification (desired)
