About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, build, and maintain user-friendly websites for global operations
- Optimise online customer experiences to drive engagement and sales
- Implement and manage e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital projects and solutions
- Ensure websites meet performance, accessibility, and security standards
- Develop backend services, scripts, and integrations (PHP, Node.js, Python)
- Automate tasks and processes with Linux administration, bash scripting, and cron jobs
- Monitor and troubleshoot server environments, ensuring uptime and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain smooth functionality
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 2–3 years of web application development with strong skills in CSS, HTML, UX/UI, and website architecture
- Experience with backend development (PHP, Node.js, or Python) and relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Experience with Linux environments, shell scripting, and server-side troubleshooting
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API integrations
- Knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices
- Strong time-management, adaptability, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach
