About the Role:
At Oscar Wylee, our Internal Auditor is essential in maintaining the trustworthiness and accuracy of our internal processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role will involve comprehensive auditing of store claims and transactions, specifically focusing on reconciling the discrepancies between various data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure data accuracy and adherence to company processes.
- Identify discrepancies in transaction amounts, codes, or any other irregularities.
- Liaise directly with department or store managers to discuss any observed differences and gather necessary information.
- Compile audit findings, provide actionable feedback, and generate reports for management.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to continuously improve internal processes.
- Stay updated with industry-specific regulations and ensure all audit processes are compliant.
- Recommend improvements to current auditing processes based on findings and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in internal auditing.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to liaise effectively with multiple departments and varying levels of management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
