About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of potential investment opportunities, including reviews of financial statements, cash flows, and valuation metrics.
- Evaluate the financial health and performance of companies and industries to develop informed investment recommendations.
Investment Due Diligence
- Research and assess potential investment opportunities by analysing market trends and identifying key risk factors.
- Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations to support decision-making processes.
Portfolio Management
- Assist in managing and optimising the company’s investment portfolio to ensure alignment with the overall investment strategy.
- Monitor and track the performance of existing investments, recommending adjustments as necessary.
Market Research
- Stay informed on market trends, economic developments, and industry dynamics to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
Risk Assessment
- Conduct risk assessments and stress tests on investment portfolios to identify potential weaknesses.
- Develop and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies.
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant financial role post-graduation.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm (PwC, EY, KPMG, or Deloitte) or within an investment banking environment (highly regarded).
- Strong financial modelling capabilities and proficiency in advanced financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and analytical tools.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
