About the role

We're on the hunt for a highly knowledgeable project coordinator with construction industry experience to assist with fit-out, refurbishment, and de-fit of our shops across Australia, Canada and New Zealand. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our shop development projects.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and will be instrumental in coordinating project activities, from initial planning through to completion. This includes:

  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Assisting with the procurement of materials and services.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting on timelines and budgets.
  • Managing documentation, including contracts, plans, and project reports.

This position is full-time and will require flexibility to meet project deadlines.

About the person

We are looking for someone who is not only capable of taking on the challenges of project coordination but also embodies the friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused values of Oscar Wylee. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in project coordination, ideally within fit-out, construction, or related industries. Retail and hospitality industry experience will be highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, construction management, or a related field is highly desirable.
