About the role

We're looking for a Junior to Intermediate Web Developer to join our remote team.

You'll primarily focus on front-end website development, turning designs and content into clean, responsive web pages. You'll also support CMS updates, integrations, website enhancements, and occasional backend tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and updating website pages using content and designs provided by the team.
  • Creating responsive pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Updating and managing content in CMS platforms.
  • Making sure pages look good across desktop, tablet and mobile.
  • Fixing front-end issues such as layout, styling and browser compatibility problems.
  • Working with designers, writers, marketing and technical team members.
  • Helping with CMS changes, bug fixes and small backend tasks where needed.
  • Assisting with forms, API integrations and third-party tools.
  • Supporting website improvements around speed, usability and reliability.
  • Providing regular updates while working remotely.

About you

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of web development experience.
  • Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications.
  • Basic understanding of backend development.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PHP, Node.js or Python.
  • WordPress, Shopify, Magento or other CMS platforms.
  • eCommerce website experience.
  • Database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • React, Vue or similar frameworks.
  • Git, cloud platforms, Linux or deployment experience.
