The ORS Canberra Difference
Our team isn't just experienced – we're known in the Canberra community. With our collective expertise, we've built a reputation for our culture of kindness and unmatched skills in complex NDIS cases. When families and support coordinators think "challenging communication needs," they think of us.
Your Role, Your Impact
As a Team Leader, you'll lead our passionate team of Speech Pathologists who thrive on complex cases others might shy away from. You're not just managing – you're mentoring a group of seasoned professionals who choose to stay because they love what we've built together.
What makes this role special:
- Lead and help grow a team already recognised as Canberra's go-to for complex NDIS speech pathology
- Shape services for our most challenging and rewarding cases
- Mentor professionals who are genuinely passionate about making a difference
- Work with families who specifically seek us out for our expertise
Work-Life Balance That Actually Exists
We know you've heard the promises before. Here's what makes ours real:
True Flexibility:
- Own your calendar: book around your life, not the other way around
- 9-day fortnight: every second Friday is yours
- Hybrid working: home, office, community – you choose
- One week bonus leave: after 3 years, because you've earned it
Canberra Lifestyle Perks:
- Finish work at 4pm, home by 4:15pm, hiking by 5pm
- Lunch break walks through the Parliamentary Triangle
- Coffee meetings at hidden industrial estate cafes
- Weekend adventures in the Brindabellas – no need to travel hours to escape the city
What You Bring
Essential:
- 4 years plus Speech Pathology experience (we know you've earned your stripes)
- Tertiary qualifications & SPA registration
- Experience with complex NDIS participants
- Leadership experience or strong leadership potential
- Current driver's license
- Background checks (or willingness to obtain)
What We Really Want:
- Someone excited about challenging cases and sincerely changing lives
- A leader who values team culture as much as clinical outcomes
- Someone ready to be part of something special in Canberra's allied health community
