- Fun and supportive multidisciplinary team in Coburg!
- Manager you own calendar with WFH flexibility!
- Industry leading professional development and training program
The ORS Psychology team is expanding, and we are seeking our next Clinical Neuropsychologist to join the team! You will be joining a national team of over 200 psychologists (including other neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, educational and developmental psychologists, and general psychologists) working under various service pathways, including the NDIS and the private sector. You will have the opportunity to develop, extend, and deepen your clinical expertise in a friendly, well-supported team and within an organisation that values your growth, passion, and skills.
As a neuropsychologist at ORS, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments to characterise cognitive function in the context of a wide range of disabilities (e.g., neurological, neurodevelopmental, and psychiatric), providing diagnoses where applicable (e.g., intellectual developmental disorders, specific learning disorders, ASD, ADHD, etc.), completing decision-making capacity assessments (both financial and lifestyle) and evaluating school-readiness. You will have a strong focus on providing evidence-based recommendations and cognitive strategies. While working with NDIS clients, you will utilise psychometrics and clinical interviews to measure and clearly articulate the impact of cognitive impairments on adaptive and daily functioning. This is a unique opportunity to work in a role where you experience a wide range of clinical presentations, ensuring your work remains varied.
Experience in autism assessments will be looked upon favourably; however, training and support to develop this skill can also be provided. Clinical Neuropsychologists, or generally registered psychologists enrolled or looking to enrol in an Area of Practice Endorsement (AoPE) Registrar Program for Clinical Neuropsychology, are also encouraged to apply.
You will have the opportunity to work in our clinic with a multidisciplinary team of practitioners or across various environments, including family homes (where clinically appropriate), disability group homes, day programs, and schools within your community.
