ORS are seeking a Payroll Manager to join our Finance department from our head office in Gosford. You will be supporting a growing organisation of 800 employees nationally. You will be joining a Finance team of eight team members with many years of experience in Finance & Accounting. Duties for this role include:
- Direct management of one Payroll Officer
- Processing of fortnightly payroll
- Administer and reconcile employee entitlement including paid parental leave and long service leave
- Employee & stakeholder support, resolving Payroll queries
- Managing processes & procedures, ensuring best practice & efficiency
- Processing of monthly superannuation
- Processing of monthly payroll tax
- Assisting with other HR & Finance projects and tasks as required
Role requirements:
- Ideally 5+ years experience in Payroll for a mid sized organisation (400+ employees)
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Business/Finance
- Knowledge of applicable awards and legislation and ability to review and apply legislation as required
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
