ORS are seeking a Payroll Manager to join our Finance department from our head office in Gosford. You will be supporting a growing organisation of 800 employees nationally. You will be joining a Finance team of eight team members with many years of experience in Finance & Accounting. Duties for this role include:

  • Direct management of one Payroll Officer
  • Processing of fortnightly payroll
  • Administer and reconcile employee entitlement including paid parental leave and long service leave
  • Employee & stakeholder support, resolving Payroll queries
  • Managing processes & procedures, ensuring best practice & efficiency
  • Processing of monthly superannuation
  • Processing of monthly payroll tax
  • Assisting with other HR & Finance projects and tasks as required

Role requirements:

  • Ideally 5+ years experience in Payroll for a mid sized organisation (400+ employees)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Business/Finance
  • Knowledge of applicable awards and legislation and ability to review and apply legislation as required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
