The ORS Occupational Therapy team is expanding and we are seeking our next Team Leader to come on board! You will be joining a national team of 70+ Occupational Therapists in our NDIS division performing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types.

You and your team of clinicians will get to work with an amazing group of clients over a period of months or even years, and you will play an integral part in their personal growth and development. You will form a close bond with your clients and get to celebrate their achievements with them every step of the way.

Your responsibilities as a Team Leader will include:

  • Supporting a team of Occupational Therapists with day to day service delivery and clinical guidance, answering questions and assisting with strategies on complex cases
  • Delivering training, induction and supervision as required
  • Completing quality assurance report reviews and feedback
  • Attending appointments with Occupational Therapists, to provide support and training
  • Completing high-quality clinical services and assessments as required in complex cases
  • Developing exceptionally well-written reports and management plans that incorporate useful and cutting edge strategies and interventions

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS offices.

If you have recently graduated, or are within your first 12 months of experience, you will be eligible to participate in ORS’ six month tailored new graduate program. This includes reduced client hours, an allocated supervisor, weekly mentoring, graduate-specific training and opportunities to network with other new graduates and senior practitioners across Australia. Many of our leaders started with ORS in our Graduate Program!

A few requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
