About the opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst – HRIS for an immediate contract opportunity to step into an active Workday implementation. The successful contractor will take ownership of critical data migration activities, working closely with project, payroll, and HR stakeholders. This is a hands-on data migration role rather than a traditional HRIS support position.

In this role, you will perform data analysis and transformation to safely mature and migrate HRIS data standards and quality across our systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Data Migration & Transformation: Extract, clean, and transform HR, payroll, and time & attendance data for migration to the new HRIS.
  • EIB & Dataflows: Lead data mapping, validation, and EIB file creation and transformation across multiple HRIS components.
  • System Integration: Work with HR, IT, and vendors to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through cutover.
  • Reporting & Governance: Support reporting and analytics needs during and after transformation, resolve data discrepancies, and assist in building a long-term data governance framework.
  • Compliance & Security: Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

What you’ll bring:

  • Workday Expertise: Strong Workday implementation experience (essential).
  • Technical Aptitude: Advanced SQL skills, strong ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) capability, and expertise in EIB file creation and transformation.
  • Domain Experience: Hands-on experience with HRIS, Payroll, and Time & Attendance data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation expertise.
  • Experience & Track Record: 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in HRIS or ERP migrations, with demonstrated capability to transform data from AS-IS to TO-BE states.
  • Core Traits: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently with large datasets.
