About the opportunity :
Where no two nights will be the same, we currently have a permanent Night Shift Posting & Cleaning Operative to work across Melbourne Metro and CBD areas. As the Night Shift Posting & Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all bus and train shelters within your designated area.
Key responsibilities :
- Pressure cleaning and general cleaning duties
- Fortnightly posting of advertising campaigns as well as mid and special posts throughout that fortnight
- Graffiti removal and minor repairs as required to the site
- Securing potentially hazardous sites
- Monitoring and reporting of damages and faults
Skills and responsibilities:
- Enjoy working outdoors, confident working around traffic and the public
- Excellent work ethic and time management, with planning and organisational skills
- Using your initiative while working with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or asset maintenance preferred
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the company vehicle
- A full and valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong customer-focused skills
- Ability to use basic hand tools
