The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Field Operative to join the team. In this role, you will be working within a team to give back to your community by providing a range of maintenance, cleaning services, and installation of advertising posters on the oOh!’s Street Furniture assets (bus shelters and retail) working a 38-hour week Monday - Friday out of our Port Melbourne. The hours of this role start time will vary from 5:30 am on wards.

Your duties will cover:

  • Cleaning of all bus and train shelters and other assets within your designated area ( insecticide/weed killing, glass clean up, general cleanliness)
  • Graffiti removal and minor repairs
  • Fortnightly posting of advertising campaigns as well as mid and special posts throughout that fortnight
  • Securing potentially hazardous sites
  • Monitoring and reporting of damages and faults
  • 100% adherence to strict policies, procedures, and code of conduct
  • Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle, uniform, and all equipment provided.

What we will give to you to be successful :

  • 2 weeks of full training and induction will be provided where you will learn the ropes buddying with an experienced team member.
  • Company vehicle to do the job.
  • A clear view of your upcoming schedule and given the autonomy to plan your hours around the best route.

  • Flexibility to work on-call and after hours work if you want to 

About you

  • Enjoy working outdoors, confident working around traffic and the public
  • Excellent work ethic and time management, with planning and organisational skills
  • Using your initiative while working with minimal supervision
  • A full and valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Strong customer focused skills
  • Flexible to work on-call at times
  • Good communication skills and the ability to utilize mobile technology
  • Ability to work in a team and also by yourself
  • Ability to use basic power tools
