The role

We're on the lookout for an experienced senior transformation manager to join our TO. You will partner with the business to implement key initiatives aligned to the growth strategy, and will be supported and guided by the Group Director, Transformation on the workstreams, interdependencies and initiative owners to deliver on the projects and initiatives. 

 We are looking for people with prior or current consulting experience with demonstrable leadership and problems solving skills. This role will suit someone that can hit the ground running, has exceptional stakeholder management skills and can collaborate with multiple people and functions to deliver on the business and transformation outcomes. You will utilise your creativity and leverage your transformation expertise to drive successful delivery of key strategic programs of work.


Key responsibilities

·        Initiate programs and projects aligned to implementing the growth strategy.  

·        Partner with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to enable a business led transformation approach.

·        Build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand business drivers and design and deliver solutions.

·        Disciplined project management and governance to realise the benefits and outcomes across all projects and initiatives.

·        Define business problems and design and implement new operating models; including people, process, and technology.

·        Work as part of the Transformation Office to build our transformation roadmap and investment case to achieve our target state.

·        Conduct detailed assessment of performance improvement opportunities aligned to our capabilities to deliver real transformation and automation.

·        Identify and add value to processes or redesign the way that we operate.

Key activities

·        Provide understanding and insights into business transformation, process and organisational design and change management.

·        Lead detailed design work to implement Target Operating Model changes. 

·        Support and utilise program governance and reporting structures to expedite risk and issue resolution, decision making and drive the overall outcomes of each workstream.

·        Own, craft and shape the storyboard of your workstream throughout its lifecycle to resonate across the complex stakeholder group and cover the multi-faceted needs of the organisation.

·        Program management orchestration across multiple projects and workstreams to realise the transformation and investment benefits.

Cross functional collaboration across multiple functions with strong alignment and integration with the technology team. 


Experience & Education

·        Tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or related field

·        5+ Years industry experience, preferably within management consulting.

·        Proven track record to deliver business wide transformation programs and outcomes.

·        Certifications in PMI, PMBOK, Prince 2 or Agile/Scrum, would be highly regarded.
