The role:

In this integral role as the NSW Agency Sales Director at oOh!media, you will lead a best-in-class media sales team of over 40 professionals, representing NSW’s top advertising spenders.

You will oversee a substantial budget encompassing all of oOh!media’s assets and offerings. This pivotal role requires strategic leadership, strong industry knowledge, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.

You will also:

  • Inspire a high-performing agency sales team, setting clear goals, providing coaching and mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets, leveraging insights into market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at top advertising spenders in NSW, understanding their challenges and objectives to provide tailored solutions
  • Strong internal collaboration is key being able to work cross-functionally including Operations, Product, Solutions, Trading, and Marketing to develop innovative and customized advertising solutions that address client challenges and deliver measurable results.
  • Represent oOh!media at industry events, client meetings and conferences articulating our solution-selling approach, value proposition and differentiation
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge in solution selling

The Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years experience in Media and preferably worked in OOH at some point in their career. You will also have:

  • Experience in media sales leadership with a strong focus on solution selling and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams to achieve sales targets and building strategic partnerships through solution-based selling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Deep understanding of the media industry, including digital, out-of-home, and traditional advertising channels, with familiarity with solution-selling methodologies, technologies, and trends.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a results-driven approach, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
