We are seeking a pioneering Principal Analysis and Design for a senior people and practice leadership role within oOh!media Technology, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, Architecture & Engineering.

Business Analysis at oOh! is not a sequential "handoff" function. Our BAs work in a continuous, parallel loop with Architecture and Engineering—high-level capability requirements inform solution architecture, while detailed functional requirements stress-test and refine it.

Crucially, you will drive the BA function's evolution towards an AI-augmented practice. You must be a confident user of AI tools today, holding a credible vision for the next two years as the boundary between BA and engineering shifts—positioning BAs to use agent-based tools to directly implement changes to application logic. You will shape how our team builds towards that future.

What you’ll be doing:

  • BA Chapter Leadership: Lead and develop the BA chapter, taking responsibility for hiring, performance, career growth, and day-to-day leadership of Business Analysts and Functional Solution Leads across 6–7 squads.
  • Practice Standards & Governance: Establish and maintain high-quality standards for requirements definition, process modelling, functional decomposition, and iterative solution refinement.
  • Delivery Cycle Contribution: Assess, interrogate, and uplift the quality of incoming Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) before analysis begins, ensuring BA coverage continues seamlessly through the squad build phase.
  • Iterative Engineering Partnership: Champion a working model where functional detail and technical architectural design develop together, helping the team understand platform choices and navigate trade-offs.
  • Lead by Example: Maintain hands-on involvement by personally leading analysis and functional design on strategically significant or highly ambiguous initiatives, producing exemplary process models and functional artifacts.
  • AI Strategic Evolution: Drive the chapter's journey toward AI fluency, piloting agent-based coding tools and defining new capabilities that BAs will need as BA and engineering disciplines naturally converge.

This is what you’ll look like:

  • Experience: 10+ years in Business Analysis, Functional Solution Design, or related disciplines within complex technology delivery environments, with a proven track record managing and developing BA teams.
  • Iterative Thinker: Comfortable with requirements and solution design evolving together concurrently, holding the ability to maintain functional clarity in motion.
  • Practitioner Credibility: Possess deep, hands-on experience in business process modelling, requirements engineering, and stakeholder workshop facilitation.
  • AI-Forward Mindset: An active, confident user of AI tools in your current analysis workflows, genuinely excited to shape, pilot, and advocate for AI-assisted delivery.
  • Systems Perspective: Exceptional understanding of how business processes, workflows, and platform capabilities interact, with the communication fluency to challenge assumptions constructively.

Education & Accreditations:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Information Systems) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Advantageous: Experience in media, advertising technology, platform-based businesses, or scaled agile structures operating on a quarterly delivery cadence.

Our benefits and perks:

  • Competitive salary package
  • A positive, supportive workplace culture
  • Professional growth and development opportunities
  • Comprehensive training and a focus on employee well-being
