About the opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer is part of the team building out the next generation of oOh!media's products based on an event driven architecture (EDA). Adopting a serverless first approach, primarily using the tech stack golang for backend services and svelte for frontend. Applying DORA identified best practices to ensure our CI / CD, security and testing processes, delivering high quality, maintainable software solutions.
Experience:
• Proactive and self-driven engineer with creative and critical thinking who can work autonomously.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver robust solutions.
• Easy going communicator with well-developed empathy instincts.
• Can do attitude with respect for deadlines.
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies and patterns.
• Ability to stay focused on business goals.
Technical skills required:
• Experience in Golang and Typescript / Nodejs. SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB / MongoDB).
• Experience in Event Driven Architecture and serverless patterns.
• Experience with AWS services using Infrastructure as code.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Svelte, Vue, and React.
• Understanding of CI / CD practices.
