About the opportunity :
Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in your work, and wants to make a real difference in your local area? We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Posting & Cleaning Operative to join our team across Melbourne’s Inner Suburbs of the following council areas
- Glen Eira council areas
- Kingston Council areas
In this hands-on role, you’ll help maintain oOh!’s network of street furniture – including bus shelters and retail sites – ensuring public spaces look their best, advertising campaigns are installed on time, and sites are kept clean and graffiti-free.
To be successful in obtaining this position, you will need to live in one of the following suburbs : Aspendale, Bonbeach, Braeside, Carrum, Chelsea, Cheltenham, Dingley Village, Edithvale, Heatherton, Highett, Mentone, Moorabbin, Mordialloc, Oakleigh South, Parkdale, Patterson Lakes, and Waterways suburbs.
Key responsibilities :
- Install posters for fortnightly, mid-cycle, and special campaigns
- Remove graffiti and perform minor site repairs
- Cleaning of bus shelters
- Respond to hazards and report damages or faults
- Ensure safety and quality standards across all sites
Skills and responsibilities:
- A valid, full Australian driver’s licence
- Great work ethic, time management and reliability
- Confidence working outdoors and around traffic
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Able to work independently and use your initiative
- Flexible to be on-call when needed
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Customer-focused and safety-conscious attitude
