We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Technology team. As a Junior Engineer, you will balance Building (85%), Guiding (10%), and Leading (5%) responsibilities. You will see yourself rotating across multiple teams and functions to provide exposure to different ways of working and professional experiences. You'll develop your skills in a supportive environment, with mentoring from experienced professionals and clear progression pathways.

You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative engineering environment, contributing to real products and features while developing your technical capability. You’ll work with technologies including Go, Node.js, AWS, event-driven and serverless architectures, as well as AI-powered tools and workflows.

What you’ll be doing:

• Software Development: Build and deliver well-defined features with guidance and support from experienced engineers.
• Modern Technology: Develop your skills across our technology stack, including Go, Node.js, AWS and modern serverless architectures.
• AI & Emerging Technology: Contribute to AI-powered features, agents and workflows, while using AI coding tools effectively in your day-to-day engineering.
• Testing & Debugging: Develop strong debugging and testing practices and write maintainable, reliable code.
• Code Reviews & Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, team planning and technical discussions, sharing ideas and learning from your peers.
• Continuous Learning: Work closely with experienced team members, act on feedback and continuously build your software engineering capabilities.
• Product & User Focus: Develop an understanding of product and user needs and contribute ideas that improve the solutions we deliver.

What you’ll bring:

• Software Engineering Foundation: Up to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent education/training.
• Programming Skills: A foundation in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Python or similar.
• Software Fundamentals: An understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, databases and unit testing.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a genuine curiosity to understand how things work.
• AI-Native Approach: Experience using AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT for coding, debugging and learning, together with an understanding of the importance of testing and reviewing AI-generated code.
• Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn new technologies, take on feedback and develop your skills in a fast-moving technology environment.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for working collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders.
• Projects & Learning: A Computer Science degree, coding bootcamp or equivalent self-taught experience with a portfolio of software projects. Experience building something with LLMs or AI agents would be highly regarded.
• Desirable Experience (Bonus Points): Exposure to Golang, Node.js, AWS/Azure, databases such as DynamoDB or RDS, Git, CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code, LLM fundamentals or agentic workflows. We’ll support you to build these skills on the job.
