The role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an independent, strategic and proactive Account Manager to work within one of Victoria’s most accomplished media sales teams. In this varied and exciting role, you will be responsible for maintaining longstanding accounts as well as capturing new business across VIC. You will be working within the growing Independent/Boutique agency client group, with a focus on strategic selling, maintaining existing relationships and harnessing business opportunities from existing contacts.

There will also be an element of new business opportunities through referrals from our commercial team. You will sell the breadth of our media asset offerings across road, rail, retail, airports and universities (covering digital and classic print campaigns – billboards, bus shelters, digital screens etc).

You will also:

  • Maximise revenue opportunities across key Independent and Boutique media agencies, and manage a pipeline of new and existing business
  • Identify opportunities for new Direct clients, either proactively or through enquiries/referrals from our Commercial team
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and their teams
  • Manage a high volume of client requests, in conjunction with an experienced Campaign Executive, who you will coach and manage workflow with
  • Drive market activity via a consistent and effective engagement plan
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to effectively position our products and solutions in market
  • Participate in external events and social engagements to build relationships with clients and boost our branding efforts
  • Based in South Melbourne you’ll join a close knit team of experienced AM/BDMs who are passionate about providing outstanding service and results to clients across a range of industries. The Experience:

Ideally you’ll have 3+ years in Account Management function, prior media experience and be well connected in the industry! You will also:

  • Proven success in developing new business as well as managing and expanding key accounts
  • Be able to influence stakeholders through thought-leadership and a consultative approach 
  • Understand how to use data, metrics and external market insights to drive and influence decisions.
  • An innate storyteller with excellent presentation style and ability to present engaging insights and solutions
  • Have exemplary communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills
