About the opportunity:

Based from our Noble Park office, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader to join oOh! as the Posting and Cleaning Filed Team Manager. Reporting directly to the State Operations Director, you will be charged with leading, coaching and mentoring a dedicated team of 18 Field Operatives servicing the CBD and the West Regions of Greater Melbourne.

You’ll have the autonomy to oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, schedule resources, interface with customers, implement strategies for improvement, and work closely with other managers to meet and exceed our commercial contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to ensure strategic and business objectives are achieved
  • Oversee the daily operations of the team ensuring effective management of team, productivity and quality
  • Lead, mentor and inspire our diverse team
  • Enhance current process and procedures while seeking new opportunities for improvement
  • Work with the Operations Performance Manager to ensure that SLA’s are met
  • Play a pivotal role in the attracting, retaining and developing key personnel ensuring the team is equipped to deliver contractual requirements
  • Collaborate closely with other team managers to ensure optimal performance
  • Ability to create, read and analyse data and reports
  • Continuously drive and promote safety at work by ensuring the team are equipped with the information, instruction, training and supervision required

  • A strategic thinker with a proven track record in operational efficiency and team leadership
  • Extensive operational expertise
  • Possess sound decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional recruitment skills with the ability to identify, attract and retain
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering strong relationships within the team
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SWMS/SOP’s, Risk Assessments, Inductions and Training
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving needs
  • Proven understanding of WSE processes and applications to maintain and safe and accident free workplace
