About the opportunity:

  • Permanent Full-Time role
  • Based in North Sydney

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture Services, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of key employee lifecycle processes. We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual with high attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude to manage our day-to-day HR operations and enquiry management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage end-to-end processes including onboarding, contract generation, job changes, and separations within stated SLAs.
  • Enquiry Management: Handle day-to-day P&C enquiries via our ServiceNow portal and shared inbox.
  • Data & Reporting: Responsible for regular employee data maintenance, validation, and ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Process Improvement: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify opportunities for process efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure policy and legislative compliance, including a sound understanding of Australian Awards.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the SME for parental leave processes and manage leave queries/reconciliation.

You Will Also Bring:

  • Experience: 1-2 years+ in a similar HR Operations or Administrator role.
  • Systems Knowledge: Proven experience as an administrator of HRIS systems, specifically Workday (Administrator, HR Partner, and Absence Partner experience).
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of maintaining procedural documentation.
  • Attributes: High attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to build trusting partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Education: Relevant tertiary studies in Human Resources, Psychology, Commerce, or related fields are highly desired.
