About the opportunity :

Where no two days will be the same and as part of the Maintenance team, as a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for general maintenance on bus shelters across the Woollahra areas as well as advertising posters within your assigned area. Your day will be a variety of jobs, including but not limited to:

  • Maintenance of bus shelters within your designated area (glass clean up, fixing of seats, totem poles, bus shelter structure, insecticide/weed killing, and the overall general cleanliness of the bus shelter
  • Graffiti removal and minor repairs
  • Fortnightly posting of advertising campaigns as well as mid and special posts throughout that fortnight (including posting and maintenance of sites at shopping centres)
  • Securing potentially hazardous sites
  • Monitoring and reporting of damages and faults
  • 100% adherence to strict policies, procedures, and code of conduct
  • Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle
  • Compliance with WHS policies

ABOUT YOU:

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Previous experience with basic hand and power tools
  • Asset maintenance experience preferred but not essential
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must
  • Full and valid Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to also pass a pre-employment Drug & alcohol check, driving history/license check, and reference checks.
