The role:

As an Agile Delivery Lead and Coach for Product Development, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively. You will blend your expertise in agile methodologies with strong leadership skills to facilitate collaboration, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement across our product development teams. This role requires a deep understanding of agile principles, along with the ability to coach and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to product development teams, fostering an agile mindset and culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Lead by example, demonstrating agile values and principles in all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Champion agile best practices and methodologies, adapting them to suit the needs of the team and the organisation.
  • Drive the delivery of high-quality products within agreed-upon timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective communication, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile principles, practices, and techniques, empowering them to self-organise, make decisions, and continuously improve.
  • Regularly communicate project status, progress, and key insights to stakeholders, soliciting feedback and incorporating it into product planning and execution.
  • Lead and facilitate retrospective meetings to identify areas for improvement, celebrate successes, and implement actionable solutions to enhance team performance. Collect and analyse metrics to track team velocity, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements.

What you will need in order to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent agile certification.
  • Proven experience in product development and agile project management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of agile principles, methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and frameworks.
  • Excellent coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.
