The Role

As a UX Designer you’ll be working within the Technology department working alongside a Product Owner and key stakeholder groups within a typical agile “squad” structure. You’ll be introducing design capability into the department and have the opportunity to institute best practice methods, techniques, and build out a basic design toolkit for others to understand and participate in design. Furthermore, you’ll be establishing a holistic design language and patterns for other oOh!media greenfields products. You’ll report to the Head of Technology - Delivery and have and an internal stakeholder in the Head of Technology Portfolio and Transformation.

Success in the role will lead to working across additional products and alongside other Product Owner roles within the department, inspiring other groups to engage and practice design principles and ultimately introducing more UX Designers into the dept.

 The list below are the technical areas that we expect a successful candidate to have had experience in however we anticipate that candidates will have a skew and passion towards particular skills. If you are experienced and passionate in any of these areas, please consider this exciting position as your next role.

  • Conducting User Research.
  • Rapid Prototyping using a wide array of tools and techniques.
  • Interaction Design.
  • High Fidelity UI Development.
  • Adherence to UX standards and guidelines of Research, Useability, Accessibility, Consistency, Information Architecture.

 We have cross-organisational experience in oOh! with Figma, Lucid, so experience using these digital tools will be beneficial.

 If you a capable facilitator and can communicate / translate between the “user”, Technology and business stakeholders, are a self-leader, take pride in your craft and can act as a champion for design then we are keen to hear from you.
