We are seeking a highly capable Data Scientist to join our team, supporting and extending our pricing capability across machine learning models, analytics applications, pipelines, and automation.
In this role, you will partner closely with Pricing & Revenue, Data Science, and cross-functional teams to integrate diverse data sources, develop and evaluate ML models, and deliver data-driven insights that directly influence pricing strategy. You will also have the opportunity to explore emerging AI capabilities and modern data tooling to enhance analytics and drive innovative pricing solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Data Integration & Pipelines: Partner with Pricing, Revenue, and Data Science teams to source, integrate, and transform data into modeling-ready assets.
- Model Development & Testing: Develop, test, and refine pricing models using a range of statistical and machine learning approaches.
- Analytics Applications & Tools: Build and enhance Python, SQL, and interactive analytics applications that power pricing tools, dashboards, and automated insights.
- Productionisation & MLOps: Collaborate with Data and ML Engineers to support the productionisation, deployment, and ongoing operation of models and pipelines.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Translate complex model outputs into clear analytical findings for both technical and non-technical business stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
- Core Technical Capability: Proficiency in Python, SQL, statistics, and machine learning modeling, with practical experience analyzing large, complex datasets.
- Data Science Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar applied quantitative role.
- Model Evaluation & Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience developing, evaluating, and validating statistical and ML models.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Desirable Experience (Bonus Points): Exposure to pricing, revenue management, or forecasting; experience with Databricks/PySpark, AWS, model productionisation, automation, or mathematical optimization.
