About the opportunity :
We're seeking an experienced and seasoned Principal Delivery Lead to help uplift and scale our Delivery function within Technology and into the organisation. The role will help drive delivery practices and execution across our entire product portfolio. As a Principal Delivery Lead, you'll work cross-functionally with key business stakeholders owning end-to-end delivery of complex programmes across several product squads. You’ll play a critical role in uplifting and developing our Delivery Leads through coaching and playing a lead role in our Delivery Chapter.
The Principal Delivery will be responsible for:
- Owning end-to-end delivery of complex programmes across several agile product squads; coordinate release schedules and manage budget/scope to deliver value iteratively.
- Identify cross-team risks and external dependencies early, implement mitigation plans, and steer delivery when scope or priorities change.
- Provide transparent progress, risk, and value updates tailored to audiences from engineers to executives; build trust and shared understanding.
- Remove impediments, foster collaboration, and empower squads to “own” their products.
- Mentor Scrum Masters, Agile Delivery Leads, product peers, and leaders through 1:1 coaching and designing content for our Delivery Chapter.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business.
- One or more certificates (CSM/PSM, PMI-ACP, etc.) Additional traditional project management credentials like PMP or PRINCE2 is also valued.
- 8–10 years in software/product delivery overall, with 3–5 years leading multiple agile teams or a large programme of delivery.
- Hands-on history as Scrum Master / Delivery Lead using Scrum and or Kanban.
- Proven on-time, on-budget delivery of complex products or enterprise systems.
- Excellent communication skills tailoring outputs for varying altitudes (C-Suite to Squads).
