The Role: 

oOh is in a period of digital transformation, with system changes occurring across our whole ecosystem. Based in our North Sydney, the Head of Advertising Operations is a senior-level position, that’s responsible for overseeing and managing the advertising operations and delivery function at oOh! The Head of Advertising Operations will play a pivotal role, leading the day-to-day operations of the campaign planning and campaign delivery functions of the business, focused on operational effectiveness, whilst playing a key role in integrating new systems and digital ad operations as oOh pivots to a digital-first future.

About the Opportunity

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of campaigns, including campaign setup, trafficking, tracking, optimization, and reporting.
  • Project management and Stakeholder engagement across all different parts of the business (e.g., Technology, Delivery Excellence, Finance, Product, CTU & Pricing Committee, Network Performance, Commercial) to ensure we can create effective operations for all Revenue & Growth teams.
  • Have a sound understanding of technology platforms, that support operations of businesses i.e. CRM, Trading Platforms, SSP’s, Creative scheduling, and delivery tools
  • Have experience working with complex delivery processes, and understanding areas that may provide opportunities for automation.
  • Work with the Group Director and Head of Platforms and Programmatic to onboard new technology functions, as and when required as part of the continued evolution of a digital-first future.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of key metrics to the Group Director – Platforms and Operations
  • Proactive engagement with major holding companies, with the sales team to ensure oOh can support continued integration with agency ecosystems.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, preferably in a managerial or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of campaign delivery technologies, programmatic advertising, CMS platforms, and optimization/ yield tools
  • Proficient in analysing campaign data and using analytics tools to extract insights and optimize campaign performance, where needed.
  • Experience in verification and success metrics
  • Familiarity with ad operations tools and platforms, such as ad servers, CMS’, verification tools, and third-party ad servers
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory guidelines related to digital advertising.
  • High attention to detail and focus with the ability to prioritize workloads effectively and have strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Be an outstanding team player who collaborates well and can communicate effectively at all levels of the business and demonstrates strong active listening skills
