We are seeking interest for contract markers to support our Early Childhood Team during high marking periods. Weekly workload will vary from 2 hours up to 20 hours depending on College need.

About the role:
As a Contract Marker at New Zealand Tertiary College, you will play a key role in supporting ākonga learning by assessing student work in a fair, consistent, and professional manner. Your feedback will be central to fostering academic development and progression, ensuring alignment with NZTC’s high standards of education. This flexible, remote role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to upholding the college’s values and academic integrity.
- Supporting the ECE team with marking during high periods
- Contract role - flexible hours to suit your needs as well as College needs
- Full training and moderation provided including on-going support
Key Responsibilities:
- Marking student assessments and giving feedforward in alignment with the assessment task, learning outcomes, and stage of study
- Maintain academic integrity and confidentiality in all assessment processes
- Collaborate with academic teams to ensure quality and consistency in marking
