Trade Centre Supervisor – Takanini

If you’re ready to take the next step in your leadership journey, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Takanini Trade Centre as a Trade Sales Supervisor.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm), reporting to the Trade Centre Manager – South Auckland.

About the Role

As Trade Centre Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Trade Centre. You’ll lead a small team, ensuring we deliver strong sales performance and consistently high levels of customer service.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence Trade Centre performance and contribute to achieving both operational and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve Trade Centre objectives
  • Drive a strong customer service culture, ensuring orders and enquiries are handled accurately and efficiently
  • Support sales growth by identifying opportunities and ensuring customer needs are met
  • Oversee daily Trade Centre operations, including stock management, inwards goods, and stock accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with processes, policies, and HS&E requirements
  • Monitor and provide feedback on team performance to the Trade Centre Manager
  • Maintain high standards of Trade Centre presentation and operational efficiency
  • Support administration processes including invoicing, credits, and POS transactions

About You

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, practical, and people-focused, with the ability to lead from the front.

You will ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role (or be ready to step up)
  • A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
  • Proven ability to motivate others
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Confidence in problem solving and driving outcomes
  • Experience in trade, retail, or customer service environments (preferred)
