The Positions
Our clients are well managed remote communities who seek couples and individuals to join them in a variety of full-time roles including:
- Store Manager/s
- Assistant Store Manager/s
- Takeaway Manager/s
- Kitchenhands
- All-rounders

What Will I Do?
- For those considering an Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager roles you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation including customer service; cashier duties; opening and closing; maintaining stock; staff supervision; and general cleaning.
- For those interested in the Takeaway Roles you’ll oversee a commercial kitchen, staff and equipment and be responsible for short order meal preparation; opening and closing; menu development; and customer service.
What Experience Do I Need?
- One (1) to three (3) years similar work experience at Supervisor or Manager level desirable for Management positions
- Training provided for all-rounder and hospitality positions
- Previous experience working in remote locations such as a mining town or an outback store / roadhouse is desirable
- Flexible approach, positive attitude and a willingness to learn essential
- Strong organisational skills, punctuality and accountability essential
- Relevant certificates or strong depth of relevant work experience
Commitment
We recruit for two types of placements:
Permanent Placements
Our clients are looking for team members who are ready to embrace remote community living and make the most of this unique opportunity. As these roles involve comprehensive training, relocation and becoming part of the local community, applicants must be able to commit to a minimum 12-month placement.
Relief Placements
Our relief opportunities typically range from 2–12 weeks and are designed for experienced professionals who can confidently step into remote community store operations with minimal training.
As these roles are either long-term community placements or require experienced relief staff, we are unable to consider applicants requiring employer sponsorship or short-term working visas at this time.
