We’re looking for a talented Data Engineer with hands-on Palantir Foundry experience to join a growing data engineering team delivering scalable, production-grade data solutions.

This is an opportunity to work across the full data lifecycle — from ingestion and transformation through to ontology modelling and operational tooling — while collaborating closely with senior engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

You’ll take ownership of well-defined workstreams, contribute to engineering best practices, and help shape high-quality data products used across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines in Palantir Foundry
  • Develop PySpark transformations focused on scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Create and manage Ontology objects, links, and actions
  • Work with analysts and operational users to support Workshop applications and tooling
  • Investigate and resolve pipeline failures and contribute to on-call support rotations
  • Participate in code reviews, engineering standards, and documentation
  • Mentor and pair with junior engineers to support team capability uplift

Technology Stack

  • Palantir Foundry
  • Code Repositories
  • Pipeline Builder
  • Ontology
  • Workshop
  • PySpark
  • Foundry Jupyter Notebooks
  • Git-based workflows / global branching
  • Data quality monitoring and health checks

What We’re Looking For

  • Must have 3–5 years’ experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering
  • Must have Commercial experience building production pipelines in Palantir Foundry
  • Strong PySpark skills including transformations, partitioning, shuffle/broadcast operations, and performance tuning
  • Strong SQL skills across analytical workloads
  • Understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball or equivalent)
  • Ability to independently own deliverables and work through ambiguity

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing Ontologies within Foundry
  • Exposure to Workshop, Slate, or Quiver applications
  • Streaming technologies experience including Kafka or Foundry Streaming
  • Experience with testing and data quality frameworks such as dbt or Great Expectations

Why Apply?

  • Work on enterprise-scale data platforms and modern data engineering practices
  • Join a collaborative, engineering-led environment with strong technical mentorship
  • Opportunity to influence architecture, standards, and engineering patterns
  • Exposure to cutting-edge Palantir Foundry implementations
  • High-impact role with real ownership and autonomy

If you’re passionate about building reliable data products and want to deepen your expertise in Palantir Foundry, we’d love to hear from you.
