This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data platforms, leveraging Palantir Foundry, PySpark, and SQL to build robust, scalable, and business-critical data solutions that support analytics, reporting, governance, and strategic decision-making.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams, translating complex requirements into high-quality data products while contributing to the evolution of a modern enterprise data ecosystem.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Palantir Foundry, PySpark, and SQL.
- Build curated datasets, reusable transformation frameworks, and scalable data models.
- Develop and enhance Foundry workflows, ontology structures, and operational data assets.
- Optimise data processing solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across complex data environments.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Participate in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry in enterprise environments.
- Advanced Python and PySpark development skills.
- Strong SQL expertise, including Spark SQL.
- Experience designing and building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality principles.
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to solve technical challenges and deliver reliable, production-grade solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Highly Regarded
- Experience within banking, financial services, risk, or regulatory environments.
- Exposure to Foundry Ontology, Workshop, Contour, Quiver, or related Foundry components.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or GenAI initiatives.
- Palantir Foundry certification or relevant cloud/data engineering certifications.
