Join a high-performing data engineering team delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry. This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you’ll take ownership of data products end-to-end while helping shape engineering standards and mentoring junior team members.
You’ll work across ingestion, transformation, ontology modelling, and downstream application delivery, partnering closely with analysts and operational stakeholders to build scalable, high-impact solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build scalable data pipelines within Palantir Foundry
- Own data products from raw ingestion through to Ontology-backed applications
- Model complex business domains using Ontology objects, actions, and relationships
- Collaborate with analysts and operations teams to develop applications in Workshop and Quiver
- Lead technical problem-solving and act as a key engineering reference point for the team
- Review code, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices
- Define monitoring, SLAs, alerting, and incident response processes for critical pipelines
- Contribute to platform standards, reusable patterns, and internal documentation

What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- Must have 5–7 years’ experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering
- Must have Strong commercial experience building production pipelines in Palantir Foundry
- Expertise in SQL across complex analytical environments
- Experience with Dimensional Modelling (Kimball) and/or Data Vault methodologies
- Proven ability to mentor or technically guide less experienced engineers
- Experience managing critical production pipelines, including SLAs, alerting, and incident response
Nice to Have
- Large-scale Ontology design experience
- Workshop, Carbon, or Quiver application development
- PySpark experience
- Streaming technologies such as Kafka or Foundry Streaming
- Experience implementing testing and data quality frameworks
- API integration and data stream onboarding experience
