We are seeking an experienced AXIOM Developer to design, develop and enhance solutions using AxiomSL/Axiom ControllerView. You will work within a strategic data transformation program supporting a centralised platform for regulatory, statutory and financial reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and support regulatory reporting solutions using AxiomSL/Axiom ControllerView.
  • Deliver end-to-end Axiom components, including data sources, data models, modify models, portfolios, aggregations, workflows and reports.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop and enhance APRA regulatory reporting modules.
  • Support Axiom CV10 migration and remediation activities.
  • Implement and upgrade XBRL taxonomies.
  • Develop and remediate Windows batch files and AutoSys JIL scheduling processes.
  • Create file pre-processing code, UDFs and reporting logic.
  • Perform data validation, unit testing and functional testing, and support UAT.
  • Manage deployments across UAT and production environments.
  • Investigate production issues, resolve defects and provide support during regulatory submission cycles.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Data, BA and QA teams.
  • Work independently across assigned reporting areas and support junior team members when required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong hands-on experience with AxiomSL/Axiom ControllerView.
  • Experience developing regulatory reporting solutions, ideally within banking.
  • Experience implementing and upgrading XBRL taxonomies.
  • Knowledge of Axiom CV10 migration and remediation.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • SQL skills for querying, validation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience across UAT, production support, deployments and release processes.
  • Ability to analyse requirements and prepare technical specifications.
  • Strong data and report validation capabilities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Highly Regarded

  • Australian banking experience.
  • Knowledge of APRA regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Windows batch scripting experience.
  • AutoSys batch scheduling experience.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
