We’re looking for an experienced Defect Coordinator to play a critical role in driving quality across a large-scale, multi-application program. You’ll sit at the heart of delivery—ensuring defects are effectively managed, prioritised, and resolved across multiple testing phases.

This is a high-impact position where you’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to keep delivery on track and maintain exceptional quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and coordinate defects across SIT, E2E, UAT, regression, and non-functional testing
  • Lead defect triage sessions, ensuring clear prioritisation and alignment
  • Track defects end-to-end, from identification through to resolution
  • Provide clear reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to stakeholders and leadership
  • Act as the key communication bridge between business, technology, and vendors
  • Analyse defect trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure strong documentation, traceability, and audit readiness

What You’ll Bring

Defect Management Expertise

  • Proven experience managing defects in complex, multi-application environments
  • Strong triage, prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Tools & Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Tricentis qTest (highly preferred)
  • Exposure to Jira integration
  • Strong reporting capability using Excel and/or BI tools

Testing Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of SIT, UAT, E2E, regression, and non-functional testing
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile delivery, and release cycles

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical issues
  • Confident facilitator with a structured, solutions-focused approach

Data & Continuous Improvement Mindset

  • Experience with metrics such as MTTR, defect density, escape rate, and backlog burn-down
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on root-cause analysis and prevention

Attention to Detail

  • High level of accuracy in documentation and maintaining audit-ready defect records
