Senior Fusion Engineer (Oracle Fusion Middleware)

As a Senior Fusion Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise integration solutions across a large-scale Oracle Fusion environment. Working alongside Solution Architects, Engineering Managers, Delivery Leads, and fellow Engineers, you will help shape the platform roadmap while delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

You'll be involved in everything from solution design and feature development through to performance optimisation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions across critical business platforms
• Deliver new features, enhancements, and integrations within a complex enterprise environment
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues
• Drive platform performance improvements and operational efficiencies
• Contribute to technical architecture, engineering standards, and platform roadmaps
• Champion Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project teams, and business stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams
• Participate in vendor engagement and technical governance activities

Essential Experience

• Must have 3+ years' experience as an Oracle Fusion Middleware Engineer within software development and operations environments
• Strong experience designing and developing solutions using:
• Oracle Fusion Middleware
• Oracle SOA Suite
• Oracle WebLogic Server
• Oracle Database (11g/12c)
• Java/J2EE technologies
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
• Strong knowledge of source code management and build tooling including Jenkins, GitHub/Perforce, Eclipse, Artifactory, Ant, and Gradle
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions
• Proven ability to deliver solutions within large-scale production environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience

Exposure to some of the following technologies will be highly regarded:

• Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, Business Rules, Workflow, Oracle Service Bus)
• AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, RDS)
• Spring Framework and related Java frameworks
• Web technologies including XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, XSLT, and WSDL
• Python, Groovy, PL/SQL, Shell scripting
• Automated testing and quality tools including Selenium, Maven, JUnit, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and ReadyAPI
• Cloud security, governance, and compliance practices
