We are currently recruiting .NET Software Engineers for a leading financial services client based in Sydney, delivering on a strategic engineering and product roadmap. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team working on modern, cloud-native systems.
What you’ll do
As a Software Engineer within the Acquisition team, you will:
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers
- Support production systems and maintain availability and performance
- Contribute to product design and deliver quality solutions end-to-end
- Continuously improve the codebase and propose enhancements
- Explore and share new technologies with the team
- Provide technical solutions to reduce complexity within the squad

Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience in C# and .NET (8/9)
- Experience with React or Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL storage solutions
- Experience building distributed systems using cloud-native solutions
- Strong knowledge of AWS services
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
- Experience with Agile delivery, design patterns, and TDD
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Experience with CI/CD, build & automation tools
- Knowledge of Terraform, Dynatrace, Kibana
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience with Kafka
- System performance tuning, scalability and fault tolerance experience
- Mentoring engineers and contributing to technical decision-making
Please note: Candidates must be based in Sydney and available to work on-site 2–3 days per week.
