We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead a critical migration from Jira to GitLab, shaping the future of our DevOps ecosystem. If you thrive in environments that value automation, efficiency, and innovation, this role is for you!

 What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the end-to-end migration from Jira to GitLab, ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.
  • Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines for high-quality code delivery and seamless automation.
  • Streamline build and release processes, empowering developers to work efficiently.
  • Guide and mentor a small team, fostering collaboration and effective task delegation.
  • Implement continuous improvements to maintain peak performance post-migration.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining modern Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. GitLab and GitHub experience is an advantage, particularly in integration.
  • Strong expertise in Linux environments, including system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with virtual machines and infrastructure management.
  • Proven ability to create, manage, and optimise containerised applications using Docker.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and DevOps processes
  • Experience with SQL for querying, managing, and optimising relational databases.

 Nice to Have Experience:

Familiarity with Bash, PowerShell, YAML, AWS & Salesforce
