Our client is seeking a skilled Investment Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. Be a vital part of advancing IDM capabilities, ensuring high-quality, trustworthy investment data.

This is a junior data analyst role focusing on data cleansing data that flows in from Bloomberg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily investment data from custodians and vendors
  • Manage data warehouse, user permissions, and system integration
  • Create records for fund managers, play a role in reconciliation
  • Produce SOPs for Investment Data Management system
  • Serve P&A team with accurate, timely data delivery
  • Provide market data and technical support
  • Monitor exception management for data queries
  • Track performance of outsource partners
  • Implement new market data requirements
  • Maintain market data registry and dictionary
  • Define data quality requirements and implement controls

Must have requirements:

  • 3+ Years Experience with investment data at fund manager, superannuation co, or asset management
  • 3+ Years experience in financial services industry
  • Familiarity with market data vendors and tools (FactSet, Bloomberg, IHS Markit)
  • Good experience in Python, R, or SQL for data reconciliation
  • Analyst level with investment understanding
  • Proficient in market and benchmark data
  • Strong grasp of security analytics across asset types
  • Financial data management expertise
  • Interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of contemporary business analysis methodologies
  • Understanding of project delivery lifecycles
